Alejandra Garcia is an artist based in Hermosa Beach. Her work is inspired by the representation of the feminine, Latin American identity, and biodiversity. Her process starts by tearing apart pieces of paper from magazines. By combining the colors and images of the shredded paper, she recreates a large piece full of depth. She introduces the concept of creation through destruction. Her work is an introspective study of womanhood, femininity, nature, and existence.
